Pour en finir avec Eddy Bellegueule

  In France, this book is “the” one you must have read. Everybody speaks about it. The author is a young man –very young- He write about his childhood and teenage years in a very backward family in a very backward country. He is an homosexual and everybody was laughing at me. He had to put up with violence, knock, insult and threat. School is a nightmare, he’s alone, without friend. He try to lie but everybody knew that he was gay. "having it and eating it" by Sabine Durrant

  I think it's what is been called “chick literature”. The story is very simple: a housewife –Maggie- got bored at home, her husband worked too much. She met an old classmate she always admired because she was so beautiful and so brilliant. Buvard by Julia Kerninon

  One of the best books I’ve read theses last months. Julia Kerninon is a young author. She’s only 27. It’s is first novel and it’s brilliant. This book relates the meeting of a student and an author. He came to interview her and he staid a few month with her. They lived together, they drank, they fought but moreover they spoke.
