Buvard by Julia Kerninon

 

One of the best books I’ve read theses last months. Julia Kerninon is a young author. She’s only 27. It’s is first novel and it’s brilliant.

This book relates the meeting of a student and an author. He came to interview her and he staid a few month with her. They lived together, they drank, they fought but moreover they spoke. They spoke about literature, success, fame but also, about love, happiness and pain.

You have very nice passage on all these subjects. Julia Kerninon’s writing is great. She know how to use words. It seems to be easy but she uses the just word at the just moment. The psychology of the character is so discerning. The story is well built.

I think that Julia Kerninon is a skilled writer, yet

I’m looking forward to her next book.
