Pour en finir avec Eddy Bellegueule

In France, this book is “the” one you must have read. Everybody speaks about it. The author is a young man –very young- He write about his childhood and teenage years in a very backward family in a very backward country. He is an homosexual and everybody was laughing at me. He had to put up with violence, knock, insult and threat. School is a nightmare, he’s alone, without friend. He try to lie but everybody knew that he was gay. Actually, it’s unbearable.

This book is well written. When you bvegin it, you can’t stop. But sometimes, it’s too much. Some things seems to be excessive or incredible. Some of them sounds to be part of the past.
